Job summary

The Staff Pad is partnering with a leading pediatric Ambulatory Surgery Center organization to recruit a Part-Time General Dentist for its affiliated professional care team in St. Louis, MO.

The role focuses on general dentistry in an ASC setting and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team. Ideal candidates are licensed in Missouri, experienced with pediatric patients, and equipped with current BLS (AHA/PALS within 6 months).

Qualifications

• Licensed Dentist in Missouri.
• Experience working with pediatric patients.
• Current BLS certification; AHA or equivalent PALS within 6 months of hire.
• National Board certification strongly preferred.
• Ability to practice across anesthesia staffing models, including Anesthesia Care Team and independent practice models.

Responsibilities

• Provide general dental care in an ASC setting.
• Partner with the surgical team to deliver safe, high-quality patient care.
• Treat approximately seven pediatric patients during a typical OR day.
• Collaborate with Dentists, Anesthesiologists, Registered Nurses, Registered Dental Assistants, and other team members.

The organization specializes in restorative and exodontia procedures for pediatric and special needs patients performed under general anesthesia, offering a structured surgical setting focused on safe, high-quality care.

Schedule: Part-Time (1-2 Days per week) | No Call, Weekends or Holidays

What You’ll Do

• Provide general dental care in an ASC setting
• Partner with the surgical team to deliver safe, high-quality patient care
• Treat approximately seven pediatric patients during a typical OR day
• Collaborate with Dentists, Anesthesiologists, Registered Nurses, Registered Dental Assistants, and other team members

What We’re Looking For

• Qualifications
• Licensed Dentist with appropriate state licensure
• Experience working with pediatric patients
• Current BLS certification; AHA or equivalent PALS within 6 months of hire
