General Dentist DMD-DDS

Location: Valparaiso, IN - Community Based Clinic - Loan Repayment Eligible

We are seeking a general Dentist to work in an employed model with a community based health clinic in Gary, IN that is an FQHC. The clinic is committed to providing comprehensive, accessible, and timely dental services to the greater Valparaiso area. The Dentist would work 3 days from 8:00am-5:00pm, one day from 10:30am-7:00pm, and Fridays from 8:00am-3:00pm, with a full support team including a professional practice manager.

The Dentist would work with an under-served patient population, making a qualitative difference in the dental care they receive. The office has four chairs plus 2 Hygiene, and the patient volume averages 18 per day. Digital X-Ray is on-site. This position qualifies for loan repayment through the NHSC and has a high HRSA|MUSA rating.

The Dentist can expect a base salary of $130,000-$135,000+ (Depending Upon Experience) plus a comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, 401K with match, malpractice insurance coverage, a CE allowance of $1,500, 5 days off for CE time, and generous PTO. The Dentist would be eligible to receive $25,000 per year (minimum of a two-year commitment in exchange for $50,000) paid directly to their student loans.

Requirements Needed to Apply:

1. IN licensed or eligible as a DDS or DMD
2. Interested in working in a community-based/public health setting
3. Willing to work a traditional schedule

Compensation Package:

1. $125,000-$135,000 Base Salary
2. Comprehensive Benefits Package
3. Loan Repayment Program through the NHSC which provides $25,000 per year for student loan debt. 2-year commitment in exchange for $50,000 in loan repayment (net dollars).
