Role Description

The General Dentist will provide comprehensive dental care to patients, including examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning, and restorative procedures such as fillings, crowns, and bridges. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing preventive care (cleanings, fluoride treatments, sealants), managing periodontal conditions, and delivering basic endodontic and minor oral surgery services when appropriate. The role also involves educating patients on oral hygiene, documenting clinical findings, coordinating care with hygienists and dental assistants, and maintaining accurate patient records in compliance with applicable regulations. This is a full-time, on-site position located in South Bend, IN, requiring consistent collaboration with the clinical and administrative team to ensure a safe, efficient, and positive patient experience.

Qualifications
  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited dental school.
  • Active Indiana dental license (or eligibility to obtain), in good standing, and current CPR/BLS certification.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in general dentistry procedures, including diagnostics, restorative care, preventive services, and basic endodontic and minor surgical treatments.
