Qualifications

X-ray / Radiography Certification required.
Licensed/Certified Dental Assistant; CPR/BLS preferred.

Responsibilities

Work with Modern Dental Technology

Join a practice equipped with advanced tools, including a VaTech CBCT unit, digital radiographs, an iTero scanner, and a 3D printer. You will utilize Dentrix Ascend software and Dexis digital sensors in a digitally equipped clinical environment. This role involves 3D printing and iTero scanning.

Monday to Friday Schedule

This full-time position requires a minimal 4 days per week, Monday to Friday. You will work within office hours that vary from 8 AM to 7 PM, with specific hours to be discussed during the interview. The practice provides general dental services to families.

Pay

$17 - $22 per hour

Job Description

Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
Sterilize dental instruments and prepare treatment rooms before and after patient appointments.
Prepare patients for dental procedures by ensuring comfort and explaining what to expect.
Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, including restorative, cosmetic, and surgical treatments.
Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry.
Prepare and mix dental materials such as fillings, impressions, and bonding agents.
Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed and ensure all images are of diagnostic quality.

Have been practicing with Dental Group West for 31 years and I am now the sole owner.
I have one associate (Dr. Quinn Crago) working full-time as well.
We provide general dentistry including cosmetic work, TMD focus, and Dr. Crago provides IV sedation.
We do not currently provide orthodontic treatment other than retainers.
We have a CBCT and digital radiographs, an Itero scanner and 3D Printer.

Number of Units

14 operatories which includes 1 surgical suite.

Equipment

We have a VaTech CBCT unit, digital radiographs, an Itero scanner and 3D Printer.

We have nitrous oxide available in each operatory and we work with Dentrix Ascend software and Dexis digital sensors.

Sterilization & Infection Control

We have 3 autoclaves and a statim.
