Qualifications

• Requires J.D. and NY Bar admission
• Strong background in affordable housing, real estate development, and finance
• Experience managing litigation and corporate matters
• Proven ability to lead transactional closings and work with senior leadership

Responsibilities

• Lead affordable housing development transactions from structuring to closing
• Form and maintain housing development fund entities and project entities
• Draft organizational documents and loan/financing documents
• Oversee litigation and coordinate with outside counsel
• Serve as Corporate Secretary and advise on governance and fiduciary duties
• Provide day-to-day legal advice and manage risk for HPDC
