This position reports to the Construction Supervisor or their designee and is located outside of Nashville, TN. Collaborates with carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and other team members to complete construction projects efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the construction, assembly, and installation of structures and systems in mobile medical clinics.
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment safely.
• Perform general construction tasks including framing, drywall installation, painting, and finishing work.
• Operate basic hand and power tools efficiently and safely.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and collaborate effectively with other team members.
• Assist with site preparation and clean-up duties as required.
• Perform routine inspections of tools and equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Follow all safety regulations and best practices for construction activities.
• Other duties as assigned by the Construction Supervisor or their designee.

Education and Work Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in construction or general labor is a plus but not required.
• Willingness to learn and take on new tasks.

Specialized Knowledge and Skills:

• Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Basic understanding of construction safety protocols.
• A can-do, positive approach and a willingness to help others is essential.

Equipment and Applications:

• Familiarity with basic construction tools such as drills, saws, hammers, and levels.
• Experience operating forklifts or other heavy equipment is a plus.

Work Environment Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Requires standing, walking, bending, and climbing for extended periods.
• Work environment includes exposure to construction zones, noise, dust, and various materials.
• Compliance with Odulair's Health and Safety Policy and all relevant safety regulations is mandatory.
• Odulair conducts regular drug and alcohol testing as required by the Department of Transportation (DOT).
