Job summary

HotFoot Recruiters is seeking dependable General Construction Laborers to support commercial projects across the Phoenix metro area. This full-time, contract-to-hire role offers a pathway into skilled trade positions and long-term career growth within construction.

The successful candidate will perform site cleanup, material handling, assist tradespeople, and follow safety rules on active job sites from early morning start times through the day. Travel across Phoenix-area sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Construction or general labor experience required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel to different Phoenix-area jobsites.
• Comfortable performing physical work, standing, lifting, and working on active construction sites.
• Safety certifications are helpful but not required.
• Must successfully complete required background screening and 7-panel drug screen (THC excluded).
• The company is specifically looking for individuals who want to grow into skilled construction roles and build a long-term career with the organization.

Responsibilities

• Perform general jobsite cleanup and maintain safe, organized work areas.
• Move, stage, load, and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment.
• Assist skilled tradespeople and field leadership with daily construction activities.
• Support interior construction work including drywall, ceilings, doors, carpentry, and finishing activities.
• Perform demolition, material handling, basic installation support, and other general labor duties as assigned.
• Follow superintendent and foreman instructions and maintain productivity throughout the shift.
• Follow all jobsite safety requirements and use required PPE.
• Travel to assigned commercial project sites throughout the Phoenix metro area.
