Job description

Cennox is seeking a General Construction Laborer to work in the El Paso, TX area. Our primary focus is on commercial construction and renovation services for financial institutions.

Position Summary:

We are looking for hardworking, hands-on individuals to support our commercial construction and renovation projects. Work is scheduled after hours and on weekends.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Prepare construction sites as needed.
2. Clean the site nightly to ensure readiness for the next day.
3. Properly dispose of debris and waste materials.
4. Perform general demolition work.
5. Assist in moving furniture to accommodate subcontracted trades.
6. Follow all safety procedures and report violations immediately.
7. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Skills and Requirements:

1. No extensive construction experience necessary.
2. Ability to operate various hand and power tools.
3. Assist carpenters, painters, and other tradespeople on-site.
4. Strong communication skills.
5. Ability to prioritize tasks.
6. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
7. Willingness to work nights and weekends.
8. Clean DMV record and background check; must be at least 18 years old.

Physical Requirements:

1. Lift and move 50+ pounds.
2. Work indoors and outdoors, including in inclement weather.
3. Stand for extended periods.
4. Climb, bend, stoop, and reach freely.
