Job summary

Charah Solutions, Inc. in Belmont, NC is seeking a construction laborer to support our field team on site. You will assist with general labor tasks, operate basic tools, and help with site cleanup under the direction of site leadership.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and willingness to work nights, weekends, or overtime as needed. Prior construction experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Minimum one‑year experience working in a construction or similar environment preferred.
• General knowledge of construction and mechanical equipment preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general labor duties such as spotting trucks, using hand tools (shovel, rake, post hole digger, etc.), installing silt fence and using small equipment.
• Sweep and mop trailer floor, clean work area and wash trucks
• Flag vehicles in and out of the construction site
• Learn, follow, and promote all safety regulations
• Perform other duties as assigned
