Job summary

Environmental Service Systems, LLC is seeking a General Cleaner to perform all-purpose cleaning and maintenance inside client sites. The role requires flexibility to adapt tasks per client specifications and may involve cleaning floors, restrooms, windows, and common areas across multiple sites.

Responsibilities include using cleaning chemicals and equipment, following schedules, and ensuring a clean, safe environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or at least six months of janitorial experience.
• On-the-job training will be provided.
• Attention to detail; ability to follow instructions effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces (sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming).
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage.
• Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrances.
• Empty trash and use of compactor for certain materials.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
• Spot clean carpets and assist in extractions/shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Follow housekeeping schedule.
• Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment (floor scrubbers, vacuums, buffers).
• Other duties as assigned.
