Job summary

PMM Companies is seeking a reliable General Cleaner to keep our premises clean and organized, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for employees, visitors, and guests.

The role involves sweeping, mopping, dusting, disinfecting restrooms, restocking supplies, and operating cleaning equipment. You will report to the Facilities Manager and assist with events, while following established safety guidelines and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties across all areas of the facility, including sweeping, mopping, dusting and vacuuming.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks and fixtures.
• Empty and dispose of trash and recycling bins regularly.
• Wipe down and sanitize surfaces such as desks, countertops and door handles.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and toiletries as needed.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners and floor scrubbers.
• Report maintenance or repair needs to Facilities Manager.
• Assist with setting up and cleaning after events or meetings.
• Follow safety protocols and company hygiene standards.
