What You Have To Do As a Custodian/Janitor

1. Maintain and clean all floor surfaces, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
2. Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and equipment to prevent damage.
3. Clean, monitor, and maintain restrooms, fitting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas.
4. Empty trash cans and use a compactor for certain materials.
5. Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with appropriate cleaners.
6. Spot clean carpets and assist with carpet extractions and shampooing.
7. Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
8. Follow the housekeeping schedule.
9. Occasionally operate heavy cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers.
10. Perform other duties as assigned based on customer needs.

Who You Need To Be To Succeed

• At least 18 years of age or older.
• Reliable and dependable.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Able to pass a drug test if required.
• Prior cleaning experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Position Details

• Part-Time
• 5 hours per day
• Availability from Sunday to Saturday
• Pay: $15.00 per hour
