Position Title: Janitorial General Cleaner

Location: Winston-Salem, North Carolina

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM (20 hours per week)

Compensation: $11.00 per hour

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial General Cleaner to join our team in Winston-Salem.

Position Summary:

The Janitorial General Cleaner is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of assigned areas, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and tidiness.

This part-time evening position is ideal for individuals seeking a consistent and reliable work schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning tasks, including but not limited to:
• Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
• Dusting and wiping down surfaces (desks, tables, chairs, fixtures)
• Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms (toilets, sinks, mirrors, floors)
• Emptying trash and recycling bins
• Cleaning windows and glass surfacesRestocking supplies (soap, paper towels, toilet paper)
• Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
• Ensure all assigned areas are cleaned to a high standard.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good working order.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• No prior janitorial experience is required; training will be provided.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Reliability and punctuality are essential.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Must be able to pass a background check, as required by client contracts.
• Positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
