Join us as a General Cleaner at DFM Solutions

We are seeking a dedicated General Cleaner to perform janitorial and custodial duties, ensuring the cleanliness and appearance of our facility's interior and exterior.

Primary Responsibilities

• Maintain floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing surfaces.
• Clean, disinfect, deodorize, and maintain restrooms; replenish supplies as needed.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners for carpets and mats.
• Wash windows, walls, partitions, vents, and pipes.
• Move furniture, boxes, and obstacles to facilitate cleaning.
• Dispose of trash and debris appropriately.
• Dust, wax, and polish office furniture; clean shelves and empty wastebaskets.
• Organize and maintain stock of janitorial supplies.
• Clean industrial machines, tools, mirrors, and fans.
• Perform light outdoor cleaning tasks like litter pickup.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of industrial cleaning experience.
• Previous forklift experience is preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Stand and walk for at least 8 hours daily, including stairs.
• Stoop, kneel, and bend frequently.
• Work in tight spaces as needed.
• Vision requirements: close, distance, and peripheral vision.

Work Environment

• Exposure to moving mechanical parts and moderate to loud noise levels.
• Handling cleaning chemicals and solvents.
• Work in non-climate-controlled environments, possibly at heights or in small areas.
