Job Description
SUMMARY:
This position will perform custodial and housekeeping work at Osceola Heritage Park. Candidates must have their own, reliable transportation and be flexible. Our schedules are based on the events taking place on property, in any one of our three facilities. Advancement opportunities are available for top performers. Employees must be able to work weekends and be available for AM and PM shifts. We are here to provide staffing for these events and for that reason, we do not have a designated AM or PM shift.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform all assigned tasks in a professional manner in order to reflect the highest integrity of the Custodial Department.
• Perform routine cleaning of administrative offices, lobbies, cafeterias, lounges, corridors, elevators and stairways in a clean, neat and sanitary manner.
• Clean and dust furniture, exhibit cases, fixtures, windows, doors, trim, and related furnishings; move furniture, supplies and miscellaneous as directed.
• Collect both recyclable and non-recyclable waste and replace trash can liners.
• Must be able to climb stairs throughout the day.
• Full vacuuming will be required in traffic areas and any visible debris on carpets.
• Remove cobwebs.
• Take trash to assigned areas.
• Report safety hazards to supervisor as appropriate.
• Follow safety procedures which include PPE and other safety requirements based on the job.
• Follow all infection control practices including hand washing techniques.
• Perform work as directed.
• Cleaning carts will not be left unattended.
• Three times per year, clean barns after the rodeo has completed which includes mucking stalls.
• At the end of the shift, equipment must be left clean and ready to use including cleaning materials.
