Job description

What You Have To Do As a Custodian/Janitor

1. Maintain and clean all floor surfaces, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
2. Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and other objects.
3. Clean, monitor, and maintain restrooms, fitting rooms, corridors, and store entrance areas.
4. Empty trash cans for proper disposal; use of a compactor for certain materials.
5. Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaners and equipment.
6. Spot clean carpets; assist in carpet extraction and shampooing.
7. Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
8. Follow housekeeping schedule.
9. Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment, such as floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers.
10. Perform other duties as assigned, based on scope of work or customer needs.

Who You Have To Be To Be Successful as a Custodian/Janitor

1. At least 18 years of age or older.
2. Reliable, dependable, and punctual.
3. Authorized to work in the United States.
4. Able to successfully pass a drug test if required.
5. Some prior cleaning experience is preferred.

Position Details

1. Part-time position.
2. 4 hours per week, 2 hours per shift.
3. Scheduled on Tuesdays and Fridays.
4. Pay rate: $15.00 per hour.
