Job summary

Pritchard Industries, Inc. is seeking a General Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and safety across client facilities in Lewistown, IL. You will vacuum, mop, sweep floors, remove trash, and clean restrooms and break rooms while upholding a professional, reliable work standard.

The ideal candidate is initiative-taking, hardworking, and dependable, with the ability to handle emergency cleaning requests. Training is provided for listed duties and janitorial tasks.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow instructions from supervisor and complete all tasks effectively.
• Prior cleaning experience is a plus.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Janitor experience a plus but will train.
• Reliable Transportation.

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming, mopping and sweeping floors to maintain cleanliness.
• Trash removal and disposal in assigned areas.
• Clean rest rooms and break rooms; perform other duties as assigned.
• Respond to emergency cleaning tickets as needed.

We are seeking to hire a General Cleaner. You will be responsible for vacuuming, mopping, sweeping floors, trash removal rest room and break room cleaning and other miscellaneous duties to ensure that building and facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe, and sanitary manner. Ideal candidate will have professional attitude & appearance and is initiative-taking, hardworking, dependable, and responsible. Ability to work emergency and reactive tickets required.

Job Requirements

• Must be able to follow instructions from supervisor and complete all tasks effectively.

Benefits:

• Full-Time
• Pay rate: $17.00-$20.00/hr
• Hours: 40 hr/week, Second Shift 2:00 pm - 9:00 pm or Third Shift 6:00 pm - 2:00 am, Monday - Friday
