Job summary

Pritchard Industries is seeking a General Cleaner to join our on-site team in West Orange, NJ. This part-time role offers 20 hours weekly with shifts from 6:00pm to 10:00pm, Monday through Friday, focusing on maintaining clean and sanitary facilities.

The ideal candidate will be dependable, with a professional attitude and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Prior cleaning experience is a plus, and training will be provided for janitorial tasks.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum, mop and sweep floors to keep areas clean.

We are seeking to hire a General Cleaner. You may be responsible for vacuuming, mopping, sweeping floors, trash removal rest room and break room cleaning and other miscellaneous duties to ensure that building and facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe, and sanitary manner. Ideal candidate will have professional attitude & appearance and is initiative-taking, hardworking, dependable, and responsible.

Job Requirements

• Must be able to follow instructions from supervisor and complete all tasks effectively.
• Prior cleaning experience is a plus.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Janitor experience a plus but will train.
• Reliable Transportation.
• Part-time
• Pay rate $16.00/hr
• Hours: 20hrs/week, 6:00pm - 10:00pm, Monday - Friday
