Job Title: Custodian

Pay Rate: $14.00/hr

Open Positions:

• Full-time: Monday to Friday, 12 PM - 8:30 PM
• Part-time: Saturday and Sunday, 6 PM - 11 PM

Summary:

This position involves performing custodial work. The Custodian will be responsible for cleaning all areas of the facility, ensuring a sanitary and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform all cleaning tasks professionally to uphold the integrity of the Custodial Department.
• Clean administrative offices, lobbies, cafeterias, lounges, corridors, elevators, and stairways.
• Dust and clean furniture, fixtures, windows, doors, and related furnishings; move furniture and supplies as needed.
• Collect recyclable and non-recyclable waste; replace trash liners.
• Clean telephones with germicidal disinfectants periodically.
• Vacuum traffic areas and remove debris from carpets.
• Clean and polish tables, benches, chairs, light switches, doors, walls, and blinds.
• Remove cobwebs and other debris.
• Transport trash to designated areas.
• Secure the job area with safety signs.
• Lock and unlock doors and windows as necessary; turn off lights when rooms are unoccupied.
• Maintain confidentiality as per policy.
• Report safety hazards to supervisors.
• Follow safety procedures, including the use of PPE and infection control practices.
• Perform tasks as directed and ensure cleaning equipment is maintained and stored properly.
