Job summary

Programmed Cleaning Inc. is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Part-Time General Cleaner to join our team in the Madison–Fitchburg area. The role involves traveling between multiple buildings, with a 2nd shift schedule (Mon-Fri, 5:00 PM–9:00 PM) and on-site work with free parking.

Applicants should be able to read English and follow safety instructions; prior cleaning experience is helpful but not required. Reliability and independence are valued traits for this position.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and understand English.
• Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
• 2nd shift availability in the Madison–Fitchburg area.

Responsibilities

• Dust desks, cabinet tops, partitions, and other surfaces.
• Empty trash and recycling containers and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
• Sweep and mop hard-surface floors.
• Vacuum floors using upright and/or backpack vacuums.
• Spot-clean carpets as needed.
• Clean glass surfaces and windows.
• Clean and disinfect sinks, countertops, toilets, mirrors, floors, and other restroom areas.
• Restock and maintain restroom supplies.
• Polish metal fixtures and fittings.
• Perform additional duties or work in assigned areas as directed by the customer or management.
• Follow all company safety procedures, policies, and standards at all times.

Job Skills / Requirements

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Part-Time General Cleaner . The position requires traveling between multiple buildings from Madison to the west side of Fitchburg. as these locations are not accessible by bus.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 5:00 PM–9:00 PM

Applicants must be able to read and understand English to follow laboratory signage, safety instructions, and other workplace requirements. After completing training, the cleaner will be responsible for independently maintaining an assigned route. Free on-site parking is available.

Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate should be reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
