Summary:

The General Cleaner performs cleaning tasks as outlined in the contract between the company and the customer. This person reports any problems or suspicious activity to the supervisor or manager.

Job Duties:

1. Empty trash and recycling
2. Dust, wipe, and spot clean all surfaces
3. Vacuum, mop, and wet mop designated areas
4. Clean entire restrooms with disinfectants and bathroom cleaners, restock supplies, remove trash, clean fixtures, mirrors, and dispensers, sweep and/or wet mop floors
5. Ensure all lights are on/off and appropriate doors are locked when leaving an area
6. Keep closets clean, neat, and orderly
7. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Reliable transportation for dependability
• Ability to meet physical requirements of the position
• Successful pass of background check and drug screen
