Job summary

US Heart and Vascular is seeking a General Cardiologist with strong non-invasive imaging expertise for Cardiology of Atlanta. The role is predominantly outpatient with focus on non-invasive imaging and collaboration with imaging services.

The physician will interpret echocardiography, nuclear, CT and PET-CT studies while supporting inpatient imaging needs. The ideal candidate holds an MD or DO, board certification or eligibility in Cardiology, and is eligible for Georgia licensure.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required and board certified or board eligible in Cardiology.
• Demonstrated experience in non-invasive cardiac imaging.
• TEE training or certification strongly preferred.
• Eligible for Georgia medical licensure.
• Team-oriented approach to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Predominantly outpatient general cardiology with emphasis on non-invasive imaging.
• Interpret a full range of imaging studies including TTE/TEE, nuclear, vascular, CT and PET-CT.
• Support inpatient consults and hospital-based imaging as needed.
• Collaborate with interventional cardiology and electrophysiology as services expand.
