Job Description:
- Non-invasive cardiology practice with a focus on work-life balance
- No weekends, no holidays, no call
- Predictable work schedules Monday through Friday
- Typical workweek consists of 2 inpatient days and 3 clinic days
- Seeking a BC/BE general cardiologist to join 5 well-established cardiologists and 5 nurse practitioners in our I-80 Ottawa/Peru based practice. Our cardiologists provide coverage at two hospitals, including OSF Saint Elizabeth Medical Center (Ottawa, IL) and OSF Saint Elizabeth Medical Center (Peru, IL); satellite clinics available in Streator and Princeton, IL.
- Providers commute from nearby areas such as Naperville, Plainfield, Burr Ridge, Oswego, with commute times included in work hours to support work-life balance
- Join a progressive, busy practice with a primary care referral base of over 300 providers
- The cardiovascular service line includes over 55 specialists, with capabilities in structural heart disease, complex EP, interventional cardiology, and advanced heart failure treatments.
- Opportunities include EKG interpretation, echocardiography, TEE, stress testing, nuclear cardiology, and cardiac CT (coming soon).
- Subspecialty board certifications in echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, cardiac CT, vascular imaging, or lifestyle medicine are appreciated.
- Mentorship opportunities available for new or recent graduates from academically trained colleagues.

- Full-time position with a clinical base salary range of $530,000 to $582,082, with potential additional incentives based on various factors.
Qualifications
- REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Physician licensed (or eligible) to practice medicine in Illinois, with DEA license to prescribe narcotics if applicable
- Board certified or eligible in appropriate specialties
- Eligible for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal programs
- Qualified for OSF liability coverage
- PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to provide patient-centered care aligned with patient goals and needs
