Augusta Health is the first ACC HeartCARE Center of Excellence in Virginia. We are seeking a Cardiologist to join our established and highly respected organization.

Opportunity Details:

1. We are recruiting a sixth Cardiologist to join our team.
2. 1:5 call rotation
3. Work includes in-patient rotation, office schedule, and reading studies
4. Guaranteed competitive base salary plus quality and productivity bonus incentives

The ideal candidate is BC/BE in Cardiovascular Medicine with training in all aspects of clinical cardiology. Recent expertise in ECHO and Nuclear medicine is required. Board certification in CT Angiogram and RPVI certification is preferred.

Practice currently consists of 5 General Cardiologists, 2 (or 3) Interventionalists, and 1 Electrophysiologist, along with 8 Advanced Practice Providers.

The Cath Lab includes 3 labs dedicated to PCI, PVD, & EP, with an 8-bed pre/post recovery unit collocated with the CCL.

We have clinical affiliations with the Mayo Clinic and UVA Cardiac Surgery teams.

Our programs include a Heart Failure Program with a post-discharge clinic, cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation programs (AACVPR accredited), and a Primary Stroke Center (AHA accredited).

Augusta Health is an accredited ACC Chest Pain Center, Heart Failure Center, and IAC accredited facility for Echocardiography, Vascular Lab, and Cath Lab.
