Qualifications

• MD or DO required.
• Cardiovascular Medicine Fellowship training completed.
• Board certified or board eligible in Cardiovascular Medicine.
• Academic appointment as Assistant Professor of Medicine on AC or CES tracks.
• Subspecialty interests in Cardiac Imaging, Heart Failure, or Preventive Cardiology encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient consultative cardiovascular care at Yale New Haven Hospital and health system facilities.
• Diagnose, manage and treat patients across a broad spectrum of cardiovascular conditions in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Contribute to the section's academic mission through teaching, clinical or translational research, quality improvement initiatives, and program development.
• Teach and mentor medical students, internal medicine residents, and cardiology fellows.
