Job summary

Yale School of Medicine in New Haven seeks a full-time General Consultative Cardiologist at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. The candidate will join a nationally recognized academic cardiology program dedicated to patient care, education, and clinical research.

The successful candidate will contribute to a dynamic clinical practice while teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, fellows, and other providers in a collaborative academic environment.

Qualifications

• Fellowship-trained in cardiovascular medicine.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in cardiovascular medicine.
• Active unrestricted medical license in CT or eligible for licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive cardiovascular care in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Participate in consultative cardiology services and on-call rotations.
• Contribute to subspecialty services (e.g., heart failure, imaging, electrophysiology, interventional cardiology based on expertise).
• Teach and mentor trainees including medical students, residents, fellows, and APPs.
• Engage in scholarly activity (clinical research, trials, QA, education innovation).
• Participate in departmental career development opportunities.
