UT Health East Texas is seeking a BE/BC General Cardiologist to join our employed Cardiovascular Consultants (CVC) practice in beautiful Athens, Texas. Excellent communication and team-building skills are essential in this supportive and growing service line.

About the Position:

  • Single Specialty Group: Cardiovascular Consultants (CVC)
  • Join a comprehensive team of 17 Cardiologists, 12 Nurse Practitioners, and support staff
  • Inpatient/Outpatient
  • UT Health Athens is a 127-bed facility recently ranked as an "A" Patient-Safety rated facility by The Leapfrog Group (Fall 2024)
  • Full-Time, 1.0 FTE
  • Onsite Testing
  • Expected Patient Load: 20+ daily
  • Call response required; with excess pay
  • EMR: Epic

About UT Tyler School of Medicine: The University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine is the first medical school in East Texas and the seventh in The University of Texas System. Its mission is to train future healthcare professionals to embrace responsibility for the unique needs of rural and hard-to-reach communities and populations, particularly those in East Texas.
