Job summary
Harris Regional Medical Center in Sylva, NC, is seeking a cardiologist to provide comprehensive cardiology services in a community-focused setting. You will cover general cardiology, work with APPs, and participate in invasive/interventional procedures, including cath lab activity at the sister facility nearby.
The position supports 7 on/7 off or 14 on/14 off schedules, with echocardiography, Nuc, and TEE, outpatient clinics and inpatient consults, and a strong collaboration with the hospitalist
Qualifications
- Board-eligible or board-certified cardiology in NC.
- Ability to perform echocardiography, nuclear and TEE.
- Experience with inpatient consults and outpatient clinics.
- Collaborative work with APPs and hospitalists.
Responsibilities
- Provide general cardiology coverage for inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Work with APPs and hospitalists to coordinate care.
- Participate in invasive and interventional procedures and cath lab activities at affiliate facility.
- Manage patient care across inpatient and outpatient environments.
- Coordinate with Haywood Regional Medical Center for shared cases and travel as needed.
