Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY seeks a General Cardiologist to join its regional program. You will work with two interventional cardiologists and a team of ARPNs in a renovated cath lab with state‑of‑the‑art imaging, offering comprehensive adult cardiology services on campus.

The role covers diagnostic catheterization and coronary intervention, device management including pacemakers, echocardiography, and Holter monitoring, with access to dedicated labs and a collaborative

Responsibilities

• Provide general adult cardiology care and manage cardiovascular diseases.
• Perform diagnostic cardiac catheterization and coronary interventions.
• Manage pacemakers and other cardiac devices.
• Oversee echocardiography and related imaging.
• Coordinate with interventional team and support labs.

• Support of 2 Interventional Cardiologists and 3 ARPNs
• Established Cardiology Program and Regional Market
• Recently installed GE Allia IGS system for the newly renovated cath lab (July 2024)
• Recently installed 256-Slice CT Scanner with CTA capabilities. (April 2024)
• New Echo PACS system for streamlined diagnostics and remote reading capabilities
• Member of the UK Healthcare Gill Affiliate Network (Gill Heart & Vascular Institute)
• Scope of Cardiology Services On Campus:
  • General Adult Cardiology, Peripheral Vascular Disease Management, Arrhythmia Management, Pacemakers, Congestive Heart Failure Management
  • Diagnostic Cardiac Catheterization, Coronary Intervention
  • Diagnostic Peripheral/Carotid/Mesenteric Angiogram, Peripheral Arterial Intervention
  • Echocardiography, Pericardialcentesis, Myocardial Biopsy
  • Permanent Pacemaker, Loop Recorder Implant, AICD Implant
  • Holter and Event Monitor
