Your Opportunity

Appalachian Regional Healthcare is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible General Cardiologist to join our established cardiovascular team in Hazard, Kentucky. You will provide comprehensive cardiology services within a supportive, integrated system dedicated to improving heart health across southeastern Kentucky and southern West Virginia.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a full range of cardiovascular conditions including ischemic heart disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, and valvular disorders.
• Perform diagnostic procedures such as echocardiography, stress testing, and cardiac catheterization.
• Collaborate with electrophysiologists, heart failure specialists, cardiac surgeons, and primary‑care providers.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and regional cardiac care programs.

Candidate Profile

• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease.
• Experienced in diagnostic and interventional cardiology.
• Committed to patient-centered care in a rural/regional setting.
• Collaborative and dedicated to improving community health outcomes.
