Job summary

Rang Technologies Inc. seeks a General Cardiologist to join an established cardiology team providing comprehensive care in inpatient and outpatient settings.

The role includes diagnosing and managing a wide range of cardiovascular conditions, performing tests (EKG, echocardiography, TEE, nuclear stress, treadmill), and contributing to patient education and care plans while using Epic EMR.

Responsibilities

• > Provide comprehensive General Cardiology services in inpatient and outpatient settings
• > Evaluate and manage patients with a broad range of cardiovascular conditions
• > Perform and interpret cardiac testing (EKGs, Echocardiograms, TEE, Nuclear Stress, Treadmill tests)
• > Provide interpretation of Holter and event monitoring
• > Participate in a 1:5 call rotation
• > Collaborate with clinicians and nursing staff across disciplines
• > Develop individualized cardiovascular treatment plans
• > Educate patients on cardiovascular health and lifestyle changes
• > Maintain Epic EMR documentation
• > Engage in CME and professional development

Job Description

The General Cardiologist will join an established and growing Cardiology team providing comprehensive cardiovascular care across both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive General Cardiology services, including inpatient and outpatient consultations, diagnostic evaluations, treatment, and follow-up care.
• Evaluate and manage patients with a broad variety of acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions.
• Perform and interpret diagnostic cardiac testing, including EKGs, Echocardiograms, TEE, Nuclear Stress Testing, and Treadmill Stress Testing.
• Provide interpretation and management of Holter and event monitoring.
• Participate in a 1:5 call rotation.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and other members of the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Develop individualized cardiovascular treatment and disease-management plans.
• Educate and counsel patients regarding cardiovascular health, preventive care, medications, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation through Epic EMR.
• Participate in continuing medical education and professional development.
• Opportunities are available to develop specialized practice interests, including Cardiac MRI and Nuclear Medicine.

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO Degree.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology.
• Board Eligible physicians must achieve certification within the required timeframe.
• Active New Hampshire Medical License or IMLC eligibility.
• Strong clinical skills in General Cardiology.
• Proficiency in:
• EKG
• Echocardiography
• TEE
• Nuclear Stress Testing
• Treadmill Stress Testing
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Commitment to compassionate and patient-centered cardiovascular care.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience or interest in Cardiac MRI.
• Experience in Nuclear Medicine.
• Diagnostic cardiac catheterization experience is beneficial but not required.
