Job description

As a General Automotive/R&R Technician, you will be responsible for servicing a broad range of vehicle repair issues and quickly identifying the cause of performance problems.

Position Responsibilities:

  1. Inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicle automotive systems
  2. Remove and reinstall transmission systems
  3. Assist other technicians with technical activities
  4. Explain problems discovered during vehicle inspection to service writers and technicians
  5. Continuously learn new technical information, equipment, tools, and repair techniques
  6. Record findings professionally to ensure accurate repair cost estimates

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3+ years' experience as a General Automotive Technician
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Own professional-grade tools for general repairs
  • Experience troubleshooting and conducting mechanical and electrical diagnostics, including drivability testing
  • Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment
