Job summary

AutoShop Recruiting is seeking a General Service Automotive Technician for the Riggs Road location, in partnership with Big O Tires and Central Arizona Auto Group. This role suits someone who stays busy, takes pride in quality work, and wants to move beyond entry-level tire and maintenance services.

You’ll handle tire installation, rotation, balancing, oil changes, inspections, and minor repairs while supporting senior techs. A safety-first mindset and dependable attendance are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of professional automotive experience.
• Hands-on tire and general maintenance experience.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install, rotate, balance, and repair tires.
• Perform oil and filter changes.
• Check fluids and complete preventive maintenance.
• Test and replace batteries.
• Perform basic vehicle inspections.
• Identify leaks, wear, and potential safety concerns.
• Assist with brake services and minor repairs.
• Support senior technicians with diagnostics and larger repairs.
• Document services and inspection findings.
• Communicate vehicle status to the service team.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
