Job summary

AAMCO Transmissions and Total Car Care in Orlando is seeking an experienced General Automotive/R&R Technician to diagnose and repair a broad range of vehicle systems, with emphasis on transmissions. You will remove and reinstall transmissions, interpret schematics and flowcharts, and mentor colleagues while maintaining accurate repair cost estimates.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years’ experience as a General Automotive/R&R Technician.
• Proficient with schematics and flowcharts.
• Own professional grade tools to service any general repair.
• Hold a valid driver’s license.
• A/C Refrigerant handling certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems.
• Remove and Reinstall Transmission systems.
• Ability to accurately diagnose transmission problems, TCM, PCM, Solenoids, electrical issues.
• Assist other technicians in performing technical activities.
• Explain problems discovered during vehicle inspection to service writers and technicians.
• Continuously learn new technical information, equipment, tools and repair techniques.
• Professionally record findings so that repairs costs are accurately estimated.
• Ability to perform misfire, evap, brakes, etc.

Job description

As a General Automotive you will be called upon to service a broad range of vehicle repair issues and for quickly identifying the cause of performance problems.

Position Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems
• Remove and Reinstall Transmission systems.
• Ability to accurately diagnose transmission problems, TCM, PCM, Solenoids, electrical issues.
• Assist other technicians in performing technical activities
• Explain problems discovered during vehicle inspection to service writers and technicians

Job Requirements
