Job summary

AAMCO Transmissions and Total Car Care is seeking a General Automotive Technician with transmission removal and installation experience to join our Norfolk area team. You will service a broad range of vehicle repair issues and quickly identify the causes of performance problems.

Responsibilities include inspecting, diagnosing, removing/reinstalling transmissions, and assisting fellow technicians. Must own professional tools and maintain accurate repair estimates while pursuing ongoing learning

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years' experience as General Automotive/R&R Technician.
• Hold a valid driver's license (required).
• Experience with valve body and solenoids is a plus.
• Own professional grade tools to service any general repair need.
• Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment.
