Job description

Position: General Automotive/R&R Technician

As a General Automotive/R&R Technician, you will be responsible for servicing a broad range of vehicle repair issues and quickly identifying the causes of performance problems.

Position Responsibilities:

1. Inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicle automotive systems
2. Remove and reinstall transmission systems
3. Assist other technicians in performing technical activities
4. Explain problems discovered during vehicle inspections to service writers and technicians
5. Continuously learn new technical information, equipment, tools, and repair techniques
6. Professionally record findings to ensure accurate repair cost estimates

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 3+ years’ experience working as a General Automotive Technician
• Hold a valid driver’s license
• Own professional-grade tools to service any general repair need
• Experience troubleshooting and conducting both mechanical and electrical diagnostics, including drivability testing
• Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment
