Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is hiring a General Laborer – Production Assembly for a full-time role in East Liberty, Ohio. The position supports our production and assembly operations with on-the-job training and opportunities across three shifts: 1st 6:00a–2:30p; 2nd 2:00p–10:30p; 3rd 10:00p–6:30a.

Primary duties include interpreting production schedules, moving materials between area, organizing items, fulfilling work orders, and preparing orders for shipping.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret production schedules and orders.
• Able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• On-the-job training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions.
• Move materials between receiving, production, storage, and designated areas.
• Sort and organize materials on racks, shelves, or bins by size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Fulfill work orders and distribute materials to production or assembly lines.
• Assemble customer orders and prepare them for shipping or packing.
• Label materials with identifying information.
• Open and handle containers such as bales, crates, and boxes.
• Track and record quantities of materials received and distributed.

Job Title: General Laborer – Production Assembly (Full-Time)
Location: East Liberty, Ohio
Shift: 1st Shift | 6:00a – 2:30p; 2nd Shift | 2:00p – 10:30p; 3rd Shift | 10:00p – 6:30a
Pay Rate: $18.02 per hour (1st shift); $20.32 per hour (2nd and 3rd shift)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Laborer to support our production and assembly operations. This is a full-time opportunity with on-the-job training provided. Forklift or tugger experience is a plus, but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions
• Move materials and products between receiving, production, storage, and designated areas
• Sort and organize materials on racks, shelves, or bins based on size, type, style, color, or product code
• Fulfill work orders and distribute materials, tools, and stock items to production or assembly lines
• Assemble customer orders and prepare them for shipping or packing
• Label materials with identifying information
• Open and handle containers such as bales, crates, and boxes
• Track and record quantities of materials received and distributed

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand in one place for extended periods
• Frequent walking and movement throughout the facility
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment

Additional Information:

• Forklift or Tugger operation may be required (training provided if needed)
