Job summary

Aventure Staffing is seeking a dependable General Assembly Team Member to join our production team in Fairmont, MN. The role involves assembling electronic, electromechanical, and mechanical components, subassemblies, and finished products, following established work instructions and quality standards.

Shift is 1st, 6am–4:30pm, Monday–Thursday. Tasks include strain gauge bonding, wiring, soldering, testing, potting, and general mechanical assembly. OT may be required to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills required.
• Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding experience.
• Strong time management and communication skills.
• Basic soldering skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 50 lbs).
• Willing to work mandatory OT when required.

Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend drawings, work-aids and safety documents.
• Retrieve parts from floor and overhead.
• Pack and stock completed products.
• Build sub-assemblies and finished goods using hand tools, power tools and fixtures.
• Operate a variety of power tools, hand tools and small hoist and other lift assist devices.
• Follow all safety protocols, including use of PPE and proper ventilation.

The successful candidate will perform a variety of assembly operations involving electronic, electromechanical, and mechanical components, subassemblies, and finished products. This role involves following established work instructions, maintaining quality standards, and meeting production deadlines. Depending on the assignment, tasks may include strain gauge bonding, wiring, soldering, testing, potting, and general mechanical assembly.

Responsibilities:

• Read and comprehend drawings, work-aids and safety documents.
• Retrieve parts from floor and overhead.
• Pack and stock completed products.
• Build sub-assemblies and finished goods using hand tools, power tools and fixtures.
• Operate a variety of power tools, hand tools and small hoist and other lift assist devices.
• Follow all safety protocols, including use of PPE and proper ventilation.

Requirements:

• Basic math skills.

• Strong time communication, management, problem solving and personal interaction skills.

• Willing to work mandatory OT when required.
