Job summary

A leading pet technology company in Wisconsin is seeking a Robot Assembler to build robotic appliances for pets, including the Litter-Robot. The ideal candidate should be fluent in English, organized, and able to perform assembly tasks in a fast-paced environment. The role involves following instructions, maintaining quality standards, and contributing to a team-oriented workplace.   • Assemble parts to build robotic appliances for pets.

  • Perform final quality control analysis of product.

We work onsite with our team based in Auburn Hills, Michigan, and Juneau, Wisconsin. Our team of 700+ passionate pet people thrives on collaboration, innovation, and the occasional office cameo from a four‑legged friend.

Whisker operates daily with two shifts. If selected for an interview, please confirm if you are interested in first, second or either shift.

First Shift: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm CST | Second Shift 3 pm – 11:30 pm CST
What You’ll Do:

As a Robot Assembler, you will assemble parts to build robotic appliances for pets (Litter‑Robot & Feeder‑Robot). As an assembling professional, you will build robots as per our work instructions, prepare assembly areas, work with your colleagues to improve line performance, and join a winning team leading the future of pet care.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assembles parts to build robotic appliances for pets
  • Follows work instructions and alerts Engineering or Management when these important documents have errors or inconsistencies
  • Prepares assembly area / line for work, ensuring that all components and tools are in good condition and ready for the required work
  • Demonstrates the willingness and ability to perform all functions of the assembly process
  • Performs final test / QC analysis of product
  • Packs product for shipment
  • Contributes to building a quality work environment by taking initiative, respecting others, being a team player, and cleaning work area
Requirements

  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and cross‑functional teams

  • Working experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
