Job summary

Nesco Resource is seeking motivated Assemblers to join our manufacturing team in Ironton, Ohio. In this role, you will assemble blowers, fans, motors and sub-assemblies to support production of high-quality equipment in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

The ideal candidate has mechanical aptitude, can use hand and power tools, and is willing to learn and complete required training. We offer competitive pay with an overnight shift differential and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assemble blowers, fans, motors and other sub-assemblies.
• Install blowers, fans, motors, and assemblies into production units.
• Install insulation into metal panels and complete panel installation.
• Assemble sheet metal components and related parts.
• Use hand and power tools as listed to complete tasks.
• Follow manufacturing specifications and quality standards.
• Complete Wiring Certification training as required.
• Perform other manufacturing and production duties as assigned.

Job Duties

• Assemble blowers, fans, motors, and other sub-assemblies
• Install blowers, fans, motors, and assemblies into production units
• Install insulation into metal panels and complete panel installation
• Assemble sheet metal components and related parts
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, including:
  • Screwdrivers
  • Pliers
  • Air guns
  • Ratchets
  • Air drills
  • Pop rivet guns
  • C-clamps
  • Scratch awls
  • Hammers
  • Pneumatic glue guns
• Follow manufacturing specifications and quality standards
• Complete Wiring Certification training as required
• Perform other manufacturing and production duties as assigned

Physical & Work Environment

• Ability to lift and push up to 50 pounds
• Ability to push units on a conveyor system
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
• Frequent kneeling, crawling, stooping, and bending
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
