Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc is seeking a General Assembler in Salt Lake City, Utah, for a 12-month contract on W2 with 40 hours per week and first shift.

The role focuses on mechanical assembly and sample builds for medical devices, including handling chemicals, heat forming catheter tips, coating catheters, lubricating guidewires, and preparing samples for conditioning and testing. Strong attention to quality and teamwork are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• More than two years of manufacturing assembly experience is preferred.
• Ability to read, write, interpret and comprehend specs in English.
• Ability to use basic measurement tools (e.g., microscopes).
• Willingness to work flexible and/or extended hours.

• Mechanical assembly and sample builds including, mixing chemical formulations, using specialized equipment and tooling to heat form tips on catheter shafts, apply coatings to catheters, apply lubrication to guidewires. What does a typical day look like? (daily tasks)

• Once trained to the task and specific build protocol by the engineering leading the study, the worker will execute the sample build, characterization, and / or preparation.
• There is flexibility in start time with expected 8 working hours per day, 40 hrs per week. Occasional overtime available.

Preferred background/prior work experience?

• Mechanical build and assembly, chemical mixing.

Summary

• Performs any combination of tasks involved in the fabrication, manufacture, assembly, testing and packaging of medical devices as well as setting up, operating, performing maintenance on and troubleshooting equipment.
• May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.
• Works within clearly defined SOPs and / or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• More than two years of manufacturing assembly experience.
• Effective communication skills at a level co-workers and Team Lead/Supervisor can understand.
• Ability to read, write, interpret and comprehend specifications written in English and perform basic math calculations.
• Ability to use basic tools of measurement, such as microscopes.
• Must be able to work flexible and/or extended hours and report to work on a regular, punctual basis.
• Has good attention to detail
• Ability to get along with people and be able to work in a team environment.
• Willingness to rotate into different tasks and responsibilities.
