Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc in Sandy, UT is seeking an entry-level General Assembler for a 12-month contract on W2. You will participate in the fabrication, assembly, testing and packaging of medical devices on 2nd or 3rd shift from 2:30pm to 11pm or 10:30pm to 7am, with a 40-hour work week.

HS diploma preferred but not required; prior manufacturing experience is not essential. Strong attention to detail and ability to read English specifications are important for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Zero to one year of manufacturing assembly experience.
• Ability to read, write, interpret English specifications and perform basic math.
• Ability to use basic measurement tools such as microscopes.
• HS Diploma is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, manufacture, assemble, test and package medical devices, and operate related equipment.
• Possibly conduct quality inspections on processing line according to specifications.
• Follow SOPs and scientific methods and adhere to quality guidelines.
• Work flexible hours and rotate into different tasks as needed.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.

Job Description

• Performs any combination of tasks involved in the fabrication, manufacture, assembly, testing and packaging of medical devices as well as setting up, operating, performing maintenance on and troubleshooting equipment.
• May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.
• Works within clearly defined SOPs and / or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines
• Zero (0) to one (1) year of manufacturing assembly experience.
• Effective communication skills at a level co-workers and Team Lead/Supervisor can understand.
• Ability to read, write, interpret, and comprehend specifications written in English and perform basic math calculations.
• Ability to use basic tools of measurement, such as microscopes.
• Must be able to work flexible and/or extended hours and report to work on a regular, punctual basis.
• Has good attention to detail
• Ability to get along with people and be able to work in a team environment.
• Willingness to rotate into different tasks and responsibilities.
