Performs routine assembly production functions including utility operations, and basic inspecting under direct supervision with the help of tools and equipment while working safely and efficiently.
Applies basic knowledge and techniques with the help of job aids, standard operating procedures, and product specifications to complete routine task and process requirements. Develops skills in basic tasks, technique and procedures within multiple areas and processes.
Ability to read, write, interpret, and comprehend specifications written in English and perform basic math calculations.
Must be able to use basic measuring equipment and tools. Maintains accurate records and logs in accordance with GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) and ISO9000 (International Organization for Standardization) and FDA (Food and Drug Administration).
Effectively works in a team setting, supporting team goals and objectives.
Ability to get along with people and be able to work in a team environment.
Effective communication skills at a level co-workers, Lead and Supervisor can understand.
Must be able to work flexible and/or extended hours and report to work on a regular, punctual basis.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit and use hands to manipulate, handle or feel objects, tools, controls and equipment. Occasional reaching, bending ,stooping or crouching is required.
Training will be determined by the Production Supervisor, and Quality upon hiring.
