Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Anesthesiologists to join Piedmont Augusta Hospital. The ideal candidate will have experience in general anesthesia and a commitment to patient-centered care within a collaborative clinical environment.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
• Active Georgia medical license (or eligible).
• 1–2 years of general anesthesia experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive perioperative anesthetic care, including preoperative evaluation, intraoperative management, and postoperative care.
• Supervise and collaborate with Anesthesia Advanced Practice Providers to ensure safe and effective anesthesia services.
• Participate in providing 24/7 anesthesia coverage in coordination with the anesthesia care team.
• Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation and clinical workflows.
• Contribute to a culture of clinical excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
