Piedmont Macon Hospital is seeking board-certified or board-eligible Anesthesiologists to join our team. The ideal candidate will have general anesthesia experience and a commitment to patient-centered care within a collaborative, innovative clinical environment.

This position welcomes new graduates who are dedicated to learning and delivering high-quality care within a team setting. Epic EMR is used for documentation and workflows.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required or equivalent.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
• Active Georgia medical license or eligible and willing to obtain licensure.
• 1–2 years of experience in general anesthesia; new graduates with relevant training encouraged.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities for multidisciplinary teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive perioperative anesthetic care from preop to postop.
• Supervise and collaborate with CRNAs or Anesthesiologist Assistants.
• Participate in 24/7 anesthesia coverage with team coordination.
• Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and workflows.
• Contribute to clinical excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
