Job summary

MercyOne Waterloo and Cedar Falls are seeking a General Anesthesiologist to join a collaborative team of anesthesiologists and CRNAs at two modern hospitals in northeast Iowa. Enjoy exceptional work‑life balance with extensive paid time off and a favorable 10‑hour shift model.

Qualifications

• Board-eligible or board-certified in anesthesiology (as applicable)
• Ability to manage a diverse case mix independently

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for a broad range of procedures across multiple specialties (general surgery, orthopedics, spine, ENT, OB, pediatrics, neurosurgery, IR, etc.)
• Maintain high autonomy in case management with supportive team of anesthesiologists and CRNAs
• Ensure patient safety and comfort with comprehensive perioperative care
