Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Anesthesiologists to join our distinguished team. The ideal candidate will have experience in general anesthesia and a commitment to delivering patient-centered care within a collaborative clinical environment.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
• Active Georgia medical license (or eligible and willing to obtain Georgia licensure).
• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in general anesthesia; new graduates encouraged.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to work within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive perioperative anesthetic care including preoperative evaluation, intraoperative management and postoperative care.
• Supervise and collaborate with CRNAs or Anesthesiologist Assistants to ensure safe anesthesia services.
• Participate in 24/7 anesthesia coverage in coordination with the care team.
• Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and clinical workflows.
• Contribute to a culture of clinical excellence, teamwork and continuous improvement.
