Overview

LG Chem is seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated General Affairs & Lab Technician to join our Customer Solutions team in Ravenna, OH. This is a 12-month full-time internship designed to prepare future candidates for LG Chem. The successful candidate will oversee laboratory operations, manage inventory, and handle administrative tasks. Bilingual in Korean is highly preferred for communication with HQ and access to Korean documents.

Responsibilities
  • Perform general administrative tasks, including managing payments and office supplies.
  • Manage inventory of reagents and supplies, including ordering and restocking.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of laboratory materials.
  • Assist in Laboratory Safety Improvement Activities.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized lab environment.
  • Collaborate with team members and departments for smooth workflow.
Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in their Senior year pursuing a degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or related fields.
  • Interest in a career in Chemical Science or Engineering.
  • Understanding of laboratory safety and protocols is preferred.
