Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience leading general accounting across a large university setting.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and state regulations.
• Experience with automated enterprise environments.
• Ability to design and strengthen internal controls.
• Proven leadership and team development.

Responsibilities

• Lead the university's general accounting operations and ensure timely reporting.
• Strengthen internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure reliable information.
• Oversee month-end and fiscal year-end close processes.
• Oversee Banner Finance and related systems administration.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and best practices.
• Produce ad hoc financial reports for leadership.
• Lead a team including supervisors of financial systems access and close activities.
