Job summary

CFS is seeking a General Accountant for Renton, WA onsite to broaden accounting expertise across financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and close activities. The role offers hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, Excel, and Power Query within a corporate environment.

You will prepare journal entries, perform reconciliations, support forecasts and budgets, and generate reports to aid management decisions. A Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of accounting experience including month-end close and reconciliations.
• Strong Excel skills (PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS) and financial reporting.
• Experience with budgeting or forecasting processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries to support monthly and quarterly close activities
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate balance sheet and income statement variances
• Analyze financial results and prepare variance reporting for management review
• Support forecasting and annual budgeting activities for assigned departments
• Process and reconcile intercompany transactions and assist with invoice processing activities
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial reports using Excel, Power Query, and ERP systems
